Color Blind Camera
This Privacy Policy describes how H&N Interactive ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Color Blind Camera mobile application (the "App"), available on Google Play with the package name com.nishantpardamwar.colorblindcamera.
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
The App requires access to your device's camera (android.permission.CAMERA) to provide its core functionality: applying real-time color-blindness simulation and daltonization filters to the camera feed. Real-time preview frames are processed entirely on-device using GPU shaders and are never transmitted to any external server.
When you actively choose to record a video, the App encodes the filtered camera output into an MP4 file and saves it locally to your device's public media storage (under Movies/ColorblindCamera). Recorded videos and extracted thumbnails remain strictly on your device under your personal control and are never uploaded, shared, or transmitted to any external server or third party.
When you use the video recording feature, the App requests microphone access (android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO) solely to capture ambient audio alongside your video recording.
Microphone access is completely optional: if you reject or decline audio permission, the App will still record video normally without audio. Audio data is encoded directly into the local MP4 video file on your device. We do not stream, listen to, analyze, or upload your audio recordings to any server.
We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (provided by Google) to collect anonymous usage statistics and crash reports. This data helps us improve the App's stability and user experience. The information collected may include:

The App is supported by ads served through Google AdMob. To display and measure ads, Google may collect and process:
This data is used to show relevant ads, limit ad frequency, detect fraud, and measure ad performance. Where required by law (for example in the EEA and UK), Google asks for your consent before serving personalized ads; you can change or withdraw consent at any time via the ad choices shown with ads. Ads are automatically suppressed during active video recording.
You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time under Android Settings → Privacy → Ads, which affects the personalization of future ads. The App offers an optional one-time purchase ("ColorBlind Camera Pro") through Google Play Billing. Upgrading to Pro permanently removes all ads, allows unlimited video recording duration, and removes watermarks from recorded videos. All financial transactions are processed directly by Google Play. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information, credit card details, or billing address.
The App stores your preferences (such as selected color-blind mode, filter intensity, split-view mode, and onboarding tooltips dismissal) locally on your device using Android DataStore. This configuration data never leaves your device.

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
We value your trust and strive to protect your information. Camera feed processing and video/audio recordings occur entirely on-device and are never transmitted to our servers. The only external transmissions are anonymous analytics/crash data (Firebase) and advertising-related data processed by Google AdMob as described above, both sent over secure encrypted connections.
